Registration and cancellation policy of Helios:
When one register for studies it is a serious and big commitment and not to be taken lightly.
The moment you register you enter into a contract between the service provider and yourself.
As long as the service provider honour their commitment to you (even if you don't do the work as required for success) then the contract is and stays valid.
- The deposit is non-refundable as it is an admin fee for the processing of your registration.
- As long as you pay your fees the contract between you and the service provider will be honoured by the service provider.
- If you fall behind on your fees (and no alternative arrangement is made by you with the service provider) your contract can be terminated by the service provider and you will no longer be a student.
- If you fall behind on your studies and want to be transferred to the next group (6months or a year later) you will have to re-register and apply that your fees already paid and your work already completed will be acknowledged and transferred.
- If you re-register later than a year after your first registration for the same year of studies again, an additional fee of R1500 will be applicable beside your normal study fees.
- A cancellation fee of R1500 will be applicable when cancelling your studies before the end of the year that you committed to when registering. Cancellation will only be deemed once cancellation fee was paid and studies as committed to must be paid up to this point.
- It is up to the student to ensure that they have all the info they need to make an informed decision about the studies/business they embark on as 'misunderstanding' or 'no-knowledge' is not a valid reason for cancellation.
- If you pay ahead of the required payment schedule, it will be deemed as a commitment to continue with your studies up to the time as paid in full. If you cancel your studies before this time as a courtesy to you, the cancellation fee will be deducted from the fees as paid already.
- If you want to prolong your studies due to unforeseen circumstances including financial difficulties, time difficulties, illness or other similar reasons, your studies could be put on ice where after you will have two cycles to re-register without any loss of fees paid and/or work done.
There after your registration as student will be cancelled and a cancellation fee will be charged. You can apply for this time to be prolonged and each situation will be evaluated individually.
- All fees owed must be paid in full before a student will be allowed to re-register or register for a new year.
- All fees owed must be paid in full before any certificates will be issued or any registrations will be done.
This is without prejudice and the rights of the service provider is reserved.
